Abstract


21st-century learning emphasizes that students have information literacy skills, namely the ability to use information more effectively and efficiently. This study aims to determine the differences in student learning activities, increase in student information literacy using Edmodo-based e-learning media, and students who do not apply Edmodo-based e-learning media and to determine student responses to learning using Edmodo-based e-learning media. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research instrument uses test questions to measure information literacy, observation, and questionnaires. The research subjects were students of class X MIPA 4 and X MIPA 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Tukdana, with 28 students each. The results showed that student learning activities in learning using Edmodo-based e-learning media obtained an average percentage increase of 60%, this result was higher than students who did not apply Edmodo e-learning media by 55%, there was a significant difference in increasing information literacy. students who apply Edmodo-based e-learning media with students who do not apply Edmodo-based e-learning media, 86% of students respond positively to learning using Edmodo-based e-learning media. The conclusion of this study is that the application of Edmodo-based e-learning media can improve students' information literacy on the subject of environmental change.
