Menstimulasi Creative Thinking Anak Usia Dini melalui Pengembangan Media Loose Part Berbasis Project Based Learning

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis loose part dalam model Project Based Learning (PJBL) guna meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif anak usia 5–6 tahun. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahapan Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 anak kelompok B di lembaga PAUD yang terlibat dalam uji coba terbatas dan uji coba luas. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi dengan empat indikator berpikir kreatif, yaitu fluency (kelancaran), flexibility (keluwesan), originality (keaslian), dan elaboration (kerincian), menggunakan skala penilaian 1–4 pada setiap indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir kreatif anak setelah menggunakan media berbasis loose part. Rata-rata skor yang diperoleh anak mencapai 14,95 dari skor maksimal 16, atau setara dengan 93,44%. Persentase tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa anak telah mencapai kategori “sangat berkembang” dalam kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Anak menjadi lebih mampu mengemukakan ide secara mandiri, mengombinasikan berbagai material loose part, serta menunjukkan perilaku aktif, imajinatif, dan inovatif dalam setiap kegiatan berbasis proyek. Media yang dikembangkan juga dinilai valid oleh para ahli dengan rata-rata nilai validitas 91%, memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan sebesar 92%, serta menunjukkan efektivitas pembelajaran sebesar 90%. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media loose part efektif diterapkan oleh pendidik PAUD untuk menstimulasi kreativitas anak melalui aktivitas proyek yang kontekstual dan menyenangkan. Selain itu, orang tua dapat mengadaptasi penggunaan loose part di rumah sebagai sarana bermain edukatif yang murah, fleksibel, serta mendukung perkembangan imajinasi dan daya cipta anak secara alami.
